Business Development Executive

We are seeking a high-energy BDE to join a leading IT Services firm in Indore. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in international lead generation, specifically via Upwork and LinkedIn. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through LinkedIn, Upwork, Clutch, and other professional networking platforms.
  • Cold Outreach: Initiate first-contact through highly personalized emails and LinkedIn messages to C-level executives.
  • Bid Management: Write and submit winning proposals on portals like Upwork, Freelancer, or Guru for web and mobile development projects.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Requirement Gathering: Coordinate between the client and the technical team to understand project scopes and provide accurate estimations.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on global tech trends to identify new market opportunities and service niches.
  • Sales Targets: Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through a disciplined sales funnel.

 

Good-to-Have Skills

  • CRM Experience: Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in overlapping time zones (US/UK shifts) when required.
  • Video Pitching: Confidence in conducting video discovery calls or Zoom presentations.

Desired Candidate's Profile

1–3 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the IT Services sector.
Exceptional Communication: Fluent verbal and written English is mandatory for interacting with international clients.
Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar lead-gen tools.
Proposal Writing: Ability to draft professional, technical, and persuasive business proposals.
Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to handle objections and close deals effectively.
Persistence: A resilient mindset with the ability to handle rejections and follow up consistently.
Tech-Savvy: A basic understanding of IT terminology (Web development, Mobile apps, Cloud, UI/UX).
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups without losing track of details.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to qualify leads quickly and focus on high-value opportunities.
